Healthcare Momma

Being in the healthcare field, being a mother, and still having to make time for myself is quite the balance. I love what I do everyday at work because, I love helping people feel better and it is never the same. I wear a lot of scrubs, but sometimes we get to wear a nice outfit with a lab coat over. I’m glad I get to go home to my daughter after a long shift and share my experiences with her.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen in a hospital?

Here’s some scrub sets, medical shoes, and miscellaneous¬†ideas you can wear and use that’s affordable.

Dagacci Medical Uniform

I’m a personal fan of the Dickies brand. They’ve been around for a long time and they come in so many colors. I love how they fit me and you can find them in almost any store.

Dickies Xtreme Stretch

MedPro Contrast Trimmed Solid Medical Scrub

I personally have these first pair of shoes. I have had them for years and they are so comfortable since they’re on my feet for hours long. I love the hard closed toed part of the shoe since many things drop in the hospital.

I use this product everyday when I go to work. This is what I usually put in my purse, hang in off my lunch bag, or in the pocket of my scrubs. These are so easy for me to carry everywhere.

PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer Portable Bottle

I love these products from Bath and Body Works. They’re fun to use at work and for your children sine they have the cool designs on the front. They come in a pack of 10! What a steal!

Bath and Body Works Pocketbac Hand Sanitizer Grab Bag

Bath and Body Works Pocketbac Hand Sanitizer Grab Bag Bundle pack of (10) Anti-Bacterial Hand Gels

Last but not least, you must have an emergency bag I believe even if you’re not in the medical field and you have kids too. They come in handy and I’ve used mine when I didn’t know I was going to even need it. I would suggest leave one in your house, and one in the car if the car doesn’t come with one already.
